Auto News - Mounts heralded as the fastest road-legal in the streets, Lazante, the company behind the road-legal version of the McLaren P1, plans to prove the rate of the LM P1 by targeting the fastest lap record in 'The Green Hell' Nurburgring.

According to reports Autocar, a new record is actually not a high priority on the track leading German Lazante it. However, the Lazante also expressed its intention to do the record-breaking experiment, only if conditions are favorable.

"If there is opportunity, there Kenny Brack is ready at the wheel. So yes maybe," Said Dean Lazante to Autocar. McLaren until now has never been publicly noted the standard version P1 time at the Nurburgring, with just giving statements 'under seven minutes'. Could it be road legal version of the McLaren P1 LM, which is claimed as a road-legal car fastest today, able to beat the current record held by the 6:57 Porsche 918 Spyder?
